Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our weeks stay at Laurie’s End. We found the accommodation to be very clean, well equipped and most comfortable. Given we were very lucky to have good weather during our week we were able to make full use of the garden as well. So all in all a good time and one we hope to repeat in the future

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Laurie’s End. The house is very close to the town centre and Minster, spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well curated and equipped. We particularly liked the attractively laid out garden; perfect for summer dining or simply enjoying a glass of wine. Unquestionably five stars! We have already booked our next stay. When my home move was unexpectedly delayed, I was lucky enough to find Laurie’s End and Dilys. Laurie’s End is a home from home, clean, cosy and everything I needed for a comfortable stay was on hand. It is also a quiet road despite being a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and was great to have off-road parking. Dilys was also very helpful and flexible when I needed to extend my stay. I just wanted to write and thank you for our stay at Lauries End. It truly is a little gem. The house is so peaceful and tranquil, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. After the stress of the last few weeks we entered an oasis of calm and relaxation. Wimborne Minster was also an unexpected delight. A beautiful little town, everyone we met was so helpful and friendly. If anyone is looking for break to unwind from the stress of day to day life I would strongly recommend you and Laurier End. We had a lovely stay – thanks for everything! Everything was great and as described. The things that we were pleasantly surprised by were the comfy bed, the quiet street, the view of the beautiful garden through the big windows in the kitchen, and fast internet. Hi Dilys, Thank you, we are having a lovely holiday. We have been on plenty of walks, the weather has been good to us. Last night my sister took me to Cannon’s wood to hear the Nightjars – a treat.
Laurie’s end is just what we needed to be near to my sister’s house. It’s very convenient to spend time with them and be able to walk home to bed.

This is a lovely quiet house despite being in the middle of town. The amenities are very good and most things you need for your stay are provided by Dilys . Very comfortable king bed. Plenty of space and the seating in the lounge is comfortable as well. Shower is also very good and nice hot water. Central heating came in handy first thing in the morning. Dilys was very responsive when I had a few questions while we were away and the booking was fast and efficient. The walk into town is really just a stroll as it’s 5 minutes from Waitrose and a couple of more into the high street and square. Also the parking was a big bonus. We had the pleasure to stay for 3 nights at Laurie’s End, Dilys’s place. Its is a very lovely place. We immediately felt at home. And we enjoyed sitting in the nice garden. Wimborne is a good centre for E Dorset & the New Forest, & Laurie’s End is very convenient for shops (3 mins walk to Waitrose), pubs & restaurants (6 or 7 mins walk to town centre.) The house was very well equipped & had a pleasant garden (the patio table was still in sun at 6.00pm in early Sept). View from dining table , through large windows, gave very pleasant outlook onto garden, with large trees shielding house behind. Bed was very comfortable & shower was good. Wimborne itself is a very pleasant place for a stroll, with added interest at the Minster. The river is easily reached for a longer walk. Sept 2015 Mr & Mrs File, Nottingham
